I an really gutted because the bike is in real good shape for a 24 year old and I have had it only 2 months and losing this panel has really annoyed me for being so stupid.
Don't worry Trevski, we all fall foul of something like that sooner or later. I lost the side panel off the 1800 soon after I got it, despite being someone who bangs on about tethering them to everyone else. I just hadn't got around to doing the tether and I refitted it badly after accessing the battery. Off it flew as I went down the motorway and it was never to be seen again.

Shoot them an email mate with colour you need. Quite often John will find what you want in his vast stocks of spares, both new and second hand. I have got stuff there when we have been over visiting them that is not listed on the web site.
I put my 1500 in for headrace replacement , on the way home both panels flew off. At the same time the outfit went bust and i had to get em meself. Took ages , got a blue pair , bike is R176 red. Gotta repaint , damn so hard to find.
I checked ebay every day for a year to get a pair.
there is a story that when a designer was given the task of sorting out the fixings for all the body panels it took him all weekend to sort out, sadly some of the fixing are not very good so would not blame yourself. There is quite a few parts that can part company. The 1800s are no different, they can lose engine cover, speaker grills and so on.
As I said, you will find John and Karin nice to deal with. We met up and went out for a meal with them last time we were over there and had a good laugh.Tom Tom has recently been out there and seen them again and bought some bits for his 1500.
